App components are the essential building blocks of an Android app. Each component is an entry point through which the system or a user can enter your app

There are four types of app components:

• Activities
• Services
• Broadcast receivers
• Content providers

각 컴포넌트는 각각 독립적인 특정 역할과 라이프사이클을 가짐.

Intent를 통해 서로 상호작용

Activities

• 사용자에게 보여지는 UI를 구성하는 컴포넌트

• 사용자와 직접적으로 상호작용하는 컴포넌트

  onCreate()

  onStart()

  onResume()

  onPause()

  onStop()

  onRestart()

  onDestroy()

  와 같은 LifeCycle을 가지고 있다.

  

• XML : 액티비티 안에 여러 Fragment를 배치하여 화면 전환이나 UI 모듈화를 처리

• Compose : Composable 함수로 단일 액티비티 내에서 여러 화면을 전환

Services

화면을 가지지 않는 컴포넌트

• 백그라운드 작업 처리 수행
• 백그라운드, 포그라운드 , 바인드 서비스로 나뉜다
• UI 쓰레드(메인 쓰레드)에서 작동됨,, 별도의 쓰레드에서 작동 되는 것이 아니다.
